djlizmason –> 18 and over only

djlizmason (sometimes known as DJ Disc Jockey) made a helluva 90 minute for us tonight. It was global, it had heart, it had swears (pretty much the best combo a mix could ask for). Thanks djlizmason for such a booty-throbbing compilation!

And! Thanks to all the lovelies who came out on this lovely evening! My personal favorite moment of the evening was the “science museum” interpretive dance session took place during song “skinlike” (also highlighted in the picture below). My lord.

And for the lady in red who had to leave early – I owe you change for your 20! Get in touch if you don’t want it counted as a charitable contribution! We don’t have our 501 c-3 status, but we’ll use it as if we did. Who wants bubblegum?

Our environment sets the mood

It was dreary and overcast outside the dancing studio for DDPP last week. This did not prevent any of us from dancing our faces off however. We just moved to a more laid back beat. It was calm, collective, and contagious. Thanks to all of the old and new faces on the dance floor. Keep on comin’.

D J-BRAN is Good For You

So Kurtis Blow gave me a real break tonight. In the middle of “The Breaks” I was inspired with a DJ name outta nowhere. Ready?

D-J-Bran. I’m good for you. I keep yer shit regular.

Ha ha to the ha. Anyway – here’s the playlist from this evening’s dancetivities. Thank you to all the lovely ladies who made it out tonight! We even had 3 break-dancers in the house!

Shoot us an email to: ddppchicago@gmail.com if you’d like to DJ! See you next week!
